Cold Springs Park Grill for Outings
In 2015 the CLIA donated a Grill to provide the opportunity for families utilizing the beach at Cold Springs the ability to cook food. Since this new grill was installed we have seen many families using the park’s beach.
Peterson Park Upgrade Project
In 2021 CLIA co-funded a large project with the Friends of Garfield Township Parks to upgrade the water side park on the West side of Crooked Lake. A pavilion, new parking lot, dock and landscaping were added significantly upgrading the park. Usage has significantly increased as a result of this project providing water access to off lake families.
Park Volunteer Day
Each Summer the CLIA has sponsored a volunteer day to encourage our members to help provide upkeep projects to insure our parks are kept clean and operational.
