Hi, my name is Greg Bergtold and I have been the Lake Association President since 2013.  My family has owned a cottage on Crooked Lake since 1941 and Lake is now my permanent residence. I recently retired from the Dow Chemical Company after 30 years and am looking forward to enjoying all of the outdoor resources the area has to offer with my wife Nancy and family including two sons and three grandchildren.

Hi, my name is Stephanie Gidley and I've been a trustee for a couple of years. My family originally bought our property on Crooked Lake in 1949. When my great grandparents were dating in the late 1940's, they used to row a boat across the lake coming from the camp area, to the shore where our cottage is located. They often fished under the tree there, eventually fell in love, and decided to buy the land for our family. I am so thankful. Spending time each summer here as a child instilled a love of Crooked Lake in me. After getting married, my husband and I brought our own family here in the summers as well. I love seeing each generation enjoy Crooked Lake and the village of Lake and look forward to serving as a trustee again to help families make memories here. I have three grown children and one sweet granddaughter so far and we have them join us here as often as possible.

Hello, my name is Jade Campbell. I started coming to Crooked Lake as a teenager to hang out with my then boyfriend, Ben Campbell. Once married we came to the lake on the weekends but it was always our dream to build our home here. In 2019 we became permanent residents on Crooked Lake! I married my middle school sweetheart and we have two amazing daughters who keep us busy. I am a registered nurse with a master’s degree in nursing executive leadership and am a board certified nurse executive. I work at North Woods Nursing Center of Farwell as the Director of Healthcare Services. I joined the CLIA board because I love giving back to my community.

I attended Central Michigan University and Saginaw State University and have a Masters Degree  in Health Administration.  I currently work at Central Michigan University College of Medicine.

I have been part of the CLIA for 2 years and look forward to serving on the Board

Crooked Lake has been my weekend away for my entire life. My grand parents started our tradition decades ago and it continues strong today. As I got older I wanted to give back to this community. The CLIA has given me the opportunity to do that and for that I am grateful. Teresa and I look forward to retiring here someday and watch the next generation(s) making memories right here as we have.  Cheers!
