Join the Crooked Lake Improvement Association!

All of us are drawn to our lake and the community through a shared love of the area’s natural resources. Keeping our lake healthy and beautiful is a top priority for all of us and preserving this quality of life is an important mission of the Crooked Lake Improvement Association (CLIA).  Your support serves to help CLIA members conserve a wholesome, healthy and energized lake community.

Membership in CLIA is open to all owners who have waterfront property of record on Crooked Lake, or off lake property located within the Crooked Lake Special Assessment District.  You can check your property tax bill for your status under the CLSAD, contact the Garfield Township Assessor, or send us a request through the contact us button.

Yearly Membership to the CLIA is $25 and is active during the Association year starting April 1 through March 31. By clicking the “Become a CLIA Member Today” button you will be directed to our online store to complete a membership application form and pay your membership dues. Please note that a $1 processing fee is required for online purchases. You may also download the printable form and submit $25 by check or money order.

Your membership to the CLIA can also come with an optional $14 paid subscription to the Riparian Magazine, a quarterly magazine devoted exclusively to covering current issues relevant to the protection, preservation, and improvement of Michigan’s inland waters and the rights of riparian property owners.

For more information about this magazine you can go to the The Michigan Riparian.
